Something very annoying (to say the least) I've noticed on both DA and FA for some time now. Artists letting being good (or even moderate like myself) get to their heads. Here's the big one I hear alot:
On the journal it reads; "I do requests! I do trades! Yes, I do commissions! I do them for anyone who wants one."
Um.....no. Here's the reality translation;
"I SAY I'll do it for anyone what I MEAN is IF you're in my clique."
Look, people. I have no problem with artists only doing trades commish requests etc for friends only...what I hate is you saying "for anyone!" when what you mean is "if...you're in my clique."
SO many times I ask myself and get denied but oh gee there's a shout on her profile page "hey thanks for that drawing you made me etc etc and this person JUST so happens to be on their friends list....if you only want to do art for friends, SAY SO! That's cool. Just don;t claim otherwise and be a fucking snob ass bitch when somebody outside of your little art clique asks you for it.
Examples...even some people here on DA I've seen doing this who shall remain nameless. Hey, man! Won't catch me doin' this shit. you want art from me? ASK and you shall receive dont matter if you're in my peeps or not. But that's me I don't think I'm better than everyone else so only my "elite" get my art. I'm serious man I got a paid commish right now from a talented artist but I prepaid him and I was looking for my colored commish yesterday and I see instead of doing my paid commission he's putting up giftart. Ok...now if this was pre-made and he just posted it then I will shut up right now. BUT if you spent all night doing that gift art INSTEAD of my prepaid commission then man that's just fucked its art snobbery! somebody ever wanted a commish from me i sure as hell would do it b4 i do my own shit if its pre paid like that. its just courtesy. then there's the other artist on fa. same thing. "i do commissions!" ALL his buddies on there get one...i have asked him now 4 times and he only gives me vague responses AKA the response "piss off you aint in my clique."
FUCK YOU PEOPLE!

So on the 18th of this month I set out on a long series of flights (my first ever) to go and live with my Dan, that is my BF Wizzer85 in England. I spent 1k of my money (and the rest of it) on this trip 800 bucks for the flight itself, from my home in Albany NY, to Newark NJ, then to London Heathrow. Little did I know the nice little welcome they had planned for me. Soon as the UK border agency guy saw me he started shit. He was like oh there's an issue and kept asking me questions and i was like SHIT i knew something was fucked. and then he sat me down and wouldn't tell me anything just "we have to do some checks" and they left me there for like 15 minutes and i tried to get up to just ask someone what was happening and this nazi border agency bitch starts screaming at me to sit back down, okay im sorry but that's not how we treat people where I'm from...
now nobody would tell me what was going on and they sent me to this little room and then searched me then they sent a lady down to search my bags and they asked me a MILLION questions many of which were very invasive and completely unnecessary to what they needed to know IE "what's this card"
I said it was for my therapist. "why you seeing one?"
"I have family problems."
"what KIND of family problems?"
"My mother abused me from a young age and is still doing it." (you people fucking had enough already??)

Jesus Christ! and it gets worse. so then they still didn't tell me shit and i had to stay in that room for 40 mins and i begged them to get my BF and they didn't listen to me i just said call him please i was NOT allowed to see him at all not even goodbye. they said there was a problem cause i was rejected for a work visa for the UK (and i explained that this was because of papers i didn't send because their OWN fucking site didn't mention i needed those papers) it was not because of security reasons that i was turned down. but they ignored it and said oh well u got rejected thats that and then they said after searching my bag i they thought i was going to try and work and i had "not enough money" but oh hey they dont want mew to work but yea i didnt have enough money maybe i aint got enough money CAUSE I FUCKING SPENT ALL OF IT ON THE FLIGHT AND NOW YOU'RE FUCKING SENDING ME RIGHT BACK YOU DICKS! and i had to sleep on a bench and was deported the next day first thing and when i woke up i heard them gossiping calling me "the american" (since i dont have a name..) and i heard them say "oh they dont want americans here right now" (WTF does that mean i had thought we were allies...have they forgotten ww2 when we fucking saved their asses?) and the thing is i aint racist but they fucking were 8 out of 10 of them were Indians and i swear to god, i do, they had a problem with my race/nationality. I was discriminated against. My dan even called the border agency yesterday (same people, okay?) and the guy said "wow...i am surprised they did that."

Now i have no money, i was sent back for STUPID ASS, unjustified, and made up reasons, i might be getting my job back but i have to start all over and these people when asked are like...oh whoops. I was also finger-printed and photographed and i asked was it necessary since i was being deported and the lady was all sarcastic kept calling me "madam" said oh we fingerprint everybody. Uhuh. right. It was frightening and it must be what socialism is like to have no rights no say no equality just at the mercy of the fucking State. In MY country we don't fucking treat people like that and definitely not people who are supposed to be ALLIES. there was another girl there they took to a detention center and they were all honey sweet about it these people are on a power trip and they did this to me because they had a problem with where i am from. I cooperated I did everything i was told i had NO security concerns they deported me because they felt like it. They are racist, socialist pigs and i am going to file a complaint with the US Department of State against England for the disgusting way i was treated. I was not given a chance. oh and btw the guy who made the final decision about me...he didn't even bother speaking to me. Like Dan's friend Dobby said
